Private Membership Agreement and Terms and Conditions

The Agreement

    Welcome to Anahata Yoga & Wellness, a Private Yoga & Wellness Space and Private Membership Association (PMA). Anahata is a member-only community; offerings are extended to registered members and are not open to the public.

    This Agreement is between you (“Member”) and Anahata Yoga & Wellness PMA, an unincorporated private association. It governs your participation in Anahata offerings—including classes, workshops, retreats, 1:1 services, and related digital content available atwww.anahatayoga.center.

    By applying for or affirming membership, and by choosing to participate in Anahata’s offerings, you acknowledge that you:

    • are voluntarily joining a private membership association;

    • will engage under the terms of this Agreement; and

    • have read and agree to our ethical, spiritual, and operational standards.

    This Agreement is maintained online atwww.anahatayoga.center/agreement for your reference and may be updated periodically to reflect the evolving nature of our mission. Anahata may decline, suspend, or revoke membership for non-alignment with these terms.

  • Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals 18 and older who align with the principles of yoga, wellness, and personal growth. Minors may join with written consent from a parent or guardian.

    Member Access: Members may participate in private offerings including yoga practice, workshops, retreats, personalized sessions, and online resources shared through our private member portal. Participation is always by private member invitation and not open to the public.

    Membership Account: Members must register using their real name, email, and phone number. Accounts are individual and may not be shared.

    Code of Conduct: Members agree to maintain a respectful, uplifting environment. Disruption, harassment, or any form of discrimination may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.

    Communications: By becoming a member, you consent to receiving private communications related to your participation—such as schedule changes, updates, and invitations—via email or text.

    Opting Out: You may manage your communication preferences by using unsubscribe links, replying STOP to texts, or emailing us. Essential communications (e.g. billing, policy updates) will continue while your membership remains active.

    Voluntary Termination: Members may withdraw by submitting written notice. For members on autopay contracts, remaining contributions for the agreed term must be honored. No refunds are issued for unused time.

    Involuntary Termination: Membership may be suspended or revoked at the discretion of the stewards for failure to honor the principles or terms of this Agreement.

  • Anahata is a sacred, and intentional space. We gather in service to wholeness, healing, and Divine remembrance. By participating in the association, you agree to uphold the following principles:

    Heart-Centered Presence: We bring mindfulness and care to our actions, treating ourselves, each other, and the space with genuine care and respect.

    Self-Responsibility: We take ownership of our energy, actions, and choices, cultivating awareness and alignment with the Highest Good.

    Divine Natural Law (Dharma): We align with the Highest Source, Natural principles and rhythms to live in harmony and integrity.

    Unity with Nature: We honor nature within and without as sacred, respecting natural balance and living in mindful connection with all living beings.

    Honor All Life: We practice ahimsa (non-harming) through compassion, respect, and love in all relationships.

    Truthfulness (Satya): We speak and act with honesty and authenticity, creating a space of trust and openness.

    Non-Stealing (Asteya): We respect others' time, energy, and belongings, respecting the privacy and properties of others.

    Discipline (Tapas): We approach our personal and spiritual practice with consistency, devotion, and care.

    Self-Study (Svadhyaya): We reflect on our thoughts and behaviors to grow in awareness and live authentically.

    Gratitude & Abundance: We recognize Divine blessings in each moment and strive to co-create from a mindset of wholeness, generosity, and reciprocity.

    Holistic Learning: We remain open-hearted and open-minded, integrating life’s lessons as opportunities for healing and evolution.

  • By participating in any Anahata offerings—classes, retreats, events, private sessions, or digital services—you agree to the following:

    Voluntary Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that yoga and wellness practices may involve physical and energetic exertion, which carry inherent risks. You accept full responsibility for your participation and agree to stop, modify, or ask for assistance as needed to support your wellbeing.

    Health Disclosure: You affirm that you are physically, mentally, and energetically fit to participate and have consulted a healthcare provider if necessary. Participation is at your own discretion.

    Waiver of Claims: You release Anahata Yoga & Wellness PMA, its stewards, instructors, and agents from all liability related to injury, illness, or property damage arising from participation.

    Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anahata Yoga & Wellness from any claims, expenses, or liabilities arising from your participation—even if such claims arise from perceived negligence.

    Scope of Services Disclaimer: Services offered by Anahata are not medical, psychological, or nutritional care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Our guides serve as facilitators of growth, not licensed medical professionals.

    Media Release: Anahata may document classes or events through photography or video for promotional or educational use. You consent to the use of your image unless you notify us in writing at anahatayogafelton@gmail.com. Zoom classes may be recorded. Personal recording is not permitted without prior written approval.

    Media Ownership: You grant Anahata the right to use such media in all formats and waive claims to compensation, approval rights, or intellectual property claims.

    Independent Activities Disclaimer: Any sessions or communications that occur outside the scope of Anahata’s official offerings are private arrangements. Anahata holds no liability for such independent interactions.

  • Anahata offers private classes, events, retreats, trainings, and 1:1 sessions to support your path of wellness and growth. All offerings are by appointment and member reservation only.

    Class Reservations: Members must pre-register via the Anahata website or Mindbody app before attending. Entry is not permitted without an active member account and class reservation.

    Private Sessions: To book a 1:1 session, email anahatayogafelton@gmail.com. A private scheduling link will be provided. Payment may be made online or in person.

    Pricing: Pricing is subject to change. Members are responsible for reviewing current pricing and policies before committing to a service or membership. Monthly contracts are governed by the terms of this agreement. Anahata is not responsible for any bank charges incurred by members.

    Final Sale Policy: All purchases are final and non-refundable, including memberships, class passes, events, retreats, and private sessions. Multi-month and yearly contracts are binding for their duration. Early cancellations require full payment of remaining dues. No refunds for unused time.

    Class Pass Expirations: Class cards and single sessions must be used within their stated expiration window.

    Discounts: Promotional pricing may not be combined. Discounts apply to standard rates only.

    Retail Products: Products may be returned within 10 days in unused condition with a receipt. No returns after 10 days.

    Class Cancellations: Cancel at least 1 hour before class to avoid penalty. Late cancellations may incur a fee equivalent to the session cost or $12 for monthly membership members.

    Private Appointments: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations are subject to full session charge.

    Standard Retreat Cancellation Policy

    • All payments are non-refundable.

    • If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your spot to another participant with written notice to Anahata Yoga & Wellness. Transfers are subject to approval.

    • If the retreat is canceled by Anahata Yoga & Wellness, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

  • Anahata is a sacred and intentional space. The following guidelines help preserve a harmonious and high-vibration experience for all members.

    Class ReservationsAll members must register and pre-book classes through www.anahatayoga.center or the Mindbody app. Drop-ins and walk-ins are not permitted. Participation is by advance reservation only.

    Arrival & Check-InPlease arrive at least 10 minutes early and check in at the front desk before entering the practice space. Late entry is not permitted once class begins.

    Entrance LocationEnter through the back parking lot entrance. Follow the driveway and turn left to find the reception.

    What to BringPlease bring your own yoga mat, towel, and water. Towels are required for hot classes to maintain cleanliness. Mat and towel rentals are available for purchase if needed.

    Clean Space PolicyAnahata is a shoe-free space. Please remove shoes before entering. Store them neatly on the porch or in reception on the mat provided.

    Quietude & Sacred SpaceWe honor the practice room as a sanctuary. Please refrain from conversations and loud movements. Enter the space mindfully, and use the time before class for rest, centering, or silent practice.

    Device-Free PracticeNo cell phones, smartwatches, or EMF-emitting devices are allowed in the practice room. Please silence and store them outside the space.

    Scent-Free PolicyAvoid perfumes or strong synthetic scents to support those with sensitivities.

    Props UseBlocks and straps are available for hot yoga. Blankets and bolsters are available only for unheated classes. Please do not use studio blankets or bolsters in hot classes.

    Respect for FacilitiesDo not touch or lean against mirrors or glass doors. Do not perform inversions against mirrors. Use walls only when needed and clean them after use.

    Shared Space CleanlinessPlease clean your area after class. Wipe up sweat, and sanitize any studio props you use.

    Facility DamageMembers are responsible for any damage to studio property caused by misuse or negligence.

    Thank you for honoring these guidelines and contributing to the sacred energy of our shared space.

  • PRICING / FEES

    Pricing for Services may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and benefits. Anahata reserves the right to modify pricing at any time.

    All pricing options are subject to change at the discretion of Anahata Yoga & Wellness. Members are encouraged to review the current pricing options and terms before selecting a membership plan. Monthly membership contracts are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this Membership agreement, including any applicable cancellation policies and fees. 

    Anahata Yoga & Wellness is not responsible for additional bank fees that you may incur from your bank. Bank fees are under the terms and conditions of contractual agreements that lie between you and your bank.

    PURCHASE POLICY

    Final and Nonrefundable: All purchases of Anahata services, including classes, events, retreats, sessions, and membership pricing options such as Monthly Autopay Memberships, Class Passes, and introductory offers for access to weekly classes are considered final upon payment and are nonrefundable. 

    Monthly Autopay Membership Pricing Options: Month-to-Month autopay membership fees for access to weekly classes are recurring and will continue until you cancel your monthly membership in writing with 30 days notice. Multi-month or yearly autopay contract membership fees are either monthly recurring payments for the duration of the contract or a one-time payment. If a member wishes to terminate their contract or membership before the contracted period expires, they will be responsible for paying the remaining fees for the duration of the contract term, calculated based on the number of months remaining. No refunds or credits will be provided for unused months if a member chooses to terminate their membership or contract early. 

    Event and Class Passes: Event and Class Passes—including options for 10 classes, 5 classes, or single class pricing—expire as noted at the time of purchase and must be used within the specified time frame.

    Promotions & Discounts: Promotions, discounts, and special pricing options can only be applied to regularly-priced services, membership options, or products. It is not permitted to apply more than one promotional discount on a purchase.


    RETURN / REFUND POLICY

    Retail Products: You may return any retail products purchased at Anahata Yoga & Wellness within 10 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the items are unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by the receipt. After 10 days, no returns will be accepted.

    Services: In general, there are no refunds and all purchases are final. Services such as classes, events, workshops, and retreats are non-refundable and final sale.

    Membership Contract Pricing Options: Monthly or yearly membership contract fees are non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits provided for unused weeks or months of a membership pricing option if a member chooses to terminate their membership early. 

    Class Passes: All class card and single class pass purchases are final and non-refundable. Refunds or credits will not be provided for unused classes or changes in personal circumstances.

    Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy include cancellation of the service by Anahata Yoga & Wellness, in which case participants will receive a full or partial refund or the option to transfer credits to another service.

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    Class and Event Cancellations: You can cancel your reservation for any class or event at least 1 hour prior to the start time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before the scheduled start time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the session or $12 for monthly membership holders. This policy helps us manage our scheduling and offer unused spots to other clients..

    Private Appointment Cancellations: You can cancel your reservation for a 1:1 session 24 hours prior to the appointment time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the session.

    Retreat Cancellations: For cancellations of retreat bookings, notice must be given at least 30 days before the start date for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the start date will not be eligible for a refund due to costs associated with planning and booking the retreat.

  • Anahata offers a number of pricing options and membership contracts enabling members to reserve and participate in weekly classes.

    Responsibility for Full Payment:
    Members who enroll in Monthly Membership Contract Options agree to fulfill the full payment for the duration of the agreement. Early termination does not waive the obligation to pay remaining dues. Any account balances—including no-show or late cancellation fees—must be resolved before membership cancellation is finalized.

    Declined Payments:
    If a payment is declined, Anahata reserves the right to reattempt processing to settle the account. Failure to complete payment for two or more billing cycles may result in membership cancellation and ineligibility for future auto-renew contracts.

    Disputed Charges and Chargebacks:
    If a member disputes a legitimate charge with their bank (including charges made under Heart-Centered Co-Creations LLC or other instruments of Anahata), the member agrees to reverse the dispute, sign required documentation, and cover any chargeback or transaction fees incurred by Anahata. These fees will be charged to the member’s payment method on file.

    Membership Pricing & Adjustments:
    All pricing is subject to change at the discretion of Anahata Yoga & Wellness. Members are responsible for reviewing the most current pricing and terms before purchasing or renewing any plan. Anahata is not liable for any fees charged by your bank or financial institution.

  • Anahata Unlimited Monthly Membership – One-Time Annual Payment

    $1,428 one-time payment ($119/month equivalent)
    Description: Grants unlimited access to Anahata’s regular weekly class schedule for 12 consecutive months. Designed for dedicated members seeking long-term savings and stability.

    ✓ Membership pause allowed for 1–2 months with 30 days advance notice via email
    Payment Method: In-studio payment by cash or check made to Heart-Centered Co-Creations LLC

    Early Termination & Refunds: No refunds or credits will be issued for unused months. Member agrees to full term upon enrollment.
    Contract Renewal: Member will be offered opportunity to manually renew at same rate prior to term end. Renewal is not automatic.

    Anahata Unlimited Monthly Membership – 12-Month Autopay Contract

    $139/month
    Description: Provides unlimited access to Anahata’s regular weekly classes for 12 months at a reduced monthly rate. This option is ideal for members committed to a year-long practice with the convenience of monthly billing.

    ✓ Access to exclusive offers and contract-member promotions
    ✓ Pause option: 1–2 months with 30 days written notice
    Autopay Authorization: Member authorizes Anahata to charge $139 to the payment method on file each month, starting on the date of purchase.
    Contract Duration: 12 months from enrollment date
    Early Termination: Members who cancel early are responsible for the remaining balance of the contract term, plus an administrative fee.
    Contract Renewal: Auto-renews for another 12-month term unless member provides 30 days written notice before renewal.

    Anahata Unlimited Monthly Membership – 6-Month Autopay Contract

    Description: Grants unlimited access to weekly classes for a 6-month term at a discounted rate. Ideal for those looking to deepen their practice over a defined period.

    Autopay Authorization: $149 is automatically charged monthly from the date of purchase.

    Contract Renewal: Automatically renews at same rate unless canceled in writing at least 30 days before term ends.

    Anahata Unlimited Monthly Membership – Month-to-Month Autopay Contract

    Loving Flow Monthly Membership – 2 Classes Per Week (6-Month Autopay)

    Description: Designed for students attending twice per week who prefer consistency and value. Includes 2 classes weekly at an estimated $14–16 per class.

    Anahata 30-Day Challenge Membership – Unlimited Plan
    Price:
    $129 one-time payment
    Description: This special limited-time membership grants unlimited access to Anahata’s weekly yoga class schedule for 30 consecutive days from the date of purchase. It is designed to support full participation in the Anahata 30-Day Yoga Challenge.
    ✓ Unlimited weekly classes for 30 days
    ✓ Exclusive offers during your challenge
    ✓ Eligibility to lock in a 12-month contract at $129/month if committed by Day 30
    Payment Method: One-time payment of $129 (nonrefundable)
    Contract Duration: 30 consecutive days from purchase date
    Challenge Completion Bonus: Members may opt into the 12-Month Autopay Membership at $129/month by submitting written confirmation before the end of their 30-day term.
    Contract Renewal: Does not auto-renew. Must opt into a new contract at term end.

    Student Discount Policy for Membership Contracts
    Currently enrolled students are eligible to receive $10 off any active Anahata membership contract (listed above) upon providing valid proof of enrollment. Proof may include a dated student ID or current course registration and must be submitted by email to anahatayogafelton@gmail.com. Once approved, the discount will be manually applied to the member’s account. The discount is valid for the current academic term or up to 6 months and may be renewed with updated proof. This discount does not apply to class cards, drop-ins, or non-contract offers.

  • Anahata offers flexible class pass options that allow Members to attend a set number of regular weekly classes at their own pace. For current rates, please refer to the Pricing Page or contact us directly.

    10 Class Card
    Grants access to 10 regular weekly classes. Valid for 3 months from date of purchase.
    ✓ May be shared or gifted to another Anahata member with advance email notice
    ✓ Expires after 3 months; unused classes will be forfeited

    5 Class Card
    Grants access to 5 regular weekly classes. Valid for 3 months from date of purchase.
    ✓ May be shared or gifted to another Anahata member with advance email notice
    ✓ Expires after 3 months; unused classes will be forfeited

    Single Class Pass
    Grants access to one regular weekly class. Valid for 3 months from date of purchase.
    ✓ May be transferred to another member once, with advance email notice
    ✓ No extensions or refunds after expiration

    Terms for All Class Passes:

    • Valid only for weekly classes; not applicable for workshops, events, or trainings

    • No holds or extensions; classes must be used within the 3-month validity period

    • Late cancellations (<1 hr before class) or no-shows will result in class forfeiture

    • All class pass sales are final and non-refundable

    • Class reservations are recommended to ensure availability

    • Sharing and gifting of class passes must be confirmed by email in advance

    By purchasing a class pass, the Member agrees to these terms.

  • Purchase & Redemption: Gift cards may be purchased in any denomination and used for all services and products at Anahata, including classes, workshops, retreats, and private sessions.

    Non-Refundable: All gift card sales are final. Cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.

    No Expiration: Gift cards do not expire and retain full value until used.

    Transferable: Gift cards may be gifted or transferred with written confirmation from the original purchaser.

    Balance Inquiries: Contact Anahata in person or by email to check balance.

    Terms Subject to Change: Anahata reserves the right to update gift card terms at any time. Use of a gift card constitutes agreement with the current Membership Agreement.

  • The following contract options were previously offered by Anahata Yoga & Wellness and are no longer available for new purchase. These agreements remain valid for existing Members under the terms they initially agreed to, until the end of their original contract term.

  • Ownership: All content, materials, and methods shared at Anahata Yoga & Wellness—including but not limited to class sequences, workshops, meditations, manuals, videos, audios, recordings, graphics, written texts, and healing practices—are the sole intellectual property of Anahata Yoga & Wellness, offered in private domain to Members. This includes all rights protected under copyright, trademark, trade secret, and spiritual authorship.

    Spiritual Sanctity: All materials are offered in the spirit of sacred exchange and are intended to support your personal evolution and spiritual well-being. The Light, wisdom, and knowledge shared are to be honored as part of our collective upliftment—not for commercial reproduction or public distribution.

    Spiritual Property: In addition to intellectual property protections, Anahata recognizes the energetic and spiritual authorship behind its offerings. This includes the vibrational quality, spiritual intention, lived experience, and sacred synthesis that inform each practice. Members are asked to treat this spiritual property with reverence and not replicate or teach it without alignment, permission, or acknowledgment.

    Limited Use License: Members are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use content for personal practice and reflection only. Commercial use, replication, or distribution without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

    Respect for Creative Work: Members may not copy, adapt, distribute, translate, or teach any Anahata content as their own without explicit permission. We uphold the ethical and spiritual importance of honoring source integrity.

    Inspiration & Lineage Acknowledgment: Anahata Yoga & Wellness integrates both ancient wisdom and modern interpretations with reverence and discernment. While many practices are inspired by collective teachings and living traditions, all Anahata content is a unique synthesis rooted in the founder’s spiritual experience, personal study, and creative evolution. As such, this synthesis is offered under the protection of intellectual and spiritual authorship.

    Feedback Contributions: Any feedback, ideas, or creative suggestions shared with Anahata become part of our collective offering and may be integrated into future practices or services. By submitting, you acknowledge this as a contribution to the evolving field of shared wisdom.

    Third-Party Material: Where applicable, Anahata incorporates outside sources with proper permissions or licenses. These materials remain the intellectual property of their respective creators.

    Infringement Claims: If you believe your intellectual property has been misused, please contact us promptly for resolution. We are committed to honoring creative lineage.

  • Your Privacy Matters: As a private membership organization, Anahata Yoga & Wellness treats your personal data as sacred and confidential. We collect only what is necessary to support your membership and experience with us.

    What We Collect: When you join, register for a class, event, or purchase services, we may collect your name, contact info, payment method, health disclosures (optional), and preferences.

    How We Use It: Information is used to manage your membership, offer tailored wellness support, process payments, communicate program updates, and ensure your safety.

    Confidentiality: We do not sell or rent your data. Information may be shared with third-party providers only for essential services (e.g., payment processing, booking system), with safeguards in place.

    Security: We take appropriate steps to secure your information, including encryption and password-protected systems. While no system is infallible, we maintain best practices in digital safety.

    Your Rights: You may request to review, update, or delete your information at any time. Please email us at anahatayogafelton@gmail.com for assistance.

    Policy Updates: We reserve the right to revise this privacy policy. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the current policy.

  • Private Remedy Process: Any disagreement or dispute shall first be approached through peaceful, private negotiation. Members agree to resolve conflicts in good faith, rooted in values of yoga, mutual respect, and conscious communication.

    Mediation: If negotiation is not successful, both parties agree to pursue mediation with a mutually agreed upon third-party mediator. The intention is to find peaceful resolution outside of commercial court systems.

    Arbitration (if needed): Should mediation fail, matters may proceed to arbitration under a recognized process (e.g., JAMS, AAA). The decision of the arbitrator will be binding.

    Legal Waiver: By joining this Private Membership Association, Members waive the right to public legal recourse or commercial litigation, except as required by natural law. Membership constitutes agreement to resolve matters privately.

    Jurisdiction: This agreement operates under the private domain and is governed by principles of common law and the State of California, where applicable.

    Cost Sharing: Any mediation or arbitration fees shall be equally shared unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • This Membership Agreement represents the full understanding between the Member and Anahata Yoga & Wellness PMA. It supersedes all previous agreements. By participating in any offerings at Anahata, the Member acknowledges acceptance of these terms in full. This update consolidates and supersedes prior versions.

Comprehensive Update: Full Refresh of the Anahata Yoga & Wellness PMA Membership Agreement

We’ve completed a full refresh of the Anahata Yoga & Wellness PMA Membership Agreement, effective retroactively to June 21, 2023, the original date of our establishment.
This comprehensive update unifies all prior versions of our agreement into a single, clear document that reflects our ongoing practices and private association framework.

What’s New:
